"It's Too Frightening to Ask, "Why Only Me...?"" is an extra chapter in the Vampire Knight manga series.
The story tells how an "election" came about for the Night Class after an attempt from Hanabusa Aido.
Summary[]
When Senri Shiki falls asleep on Takuma Ichijo's shoulder on the sofa, Ichijo casually comments that Senri is part of his "faction" and is an Ichijo. Hanabusa Aido declares himself a Kuran, and Ruka says she's more of a Kuran than Aido, to which Aido says they can be allies for now. When Aido asks him, Akatsuki Kain doesn't pick a side.
This leads to Aido getting Ichijo to do an election so that Aido can try to get everyone on Kaname's side. They put up posters for their sides, but Kaname tears down the posters of himself, saying it freaks him out to see his face up like that. Ichijo says he thought it would be fun to have an election for president of the Moon Dormitory, and Kaname announces that he's with the Ichijo faction, to Aido's dismay.
No one other than Aido takes the election seriously, as he's the only one at an abandoned ballot box.
In volume 4, the bonus chapter is followed by another one-page short titled "Cleaning Up After the Dorm Election." Aido has some posters of Kaname left, and Ruka insists that he sell her some, which he agrees to do.
