Ōri was a Pureblood vampire and the former fiancé of Sara Shirabuki.
History[]
Ori and Sara were planned to have an arranged marriage. This was probably a betrothal for their families and carrying on the Pureblood lineage. Ōri was much older than Sara and he rarely paid any attention to her as he still saw her as a little girl.
Plot[]
During Yuki's first soirée, It was revealed that Sara turned an unknown vampire hunter into a vampire and used that vampire hunter to put an end to her fiancé's life. However, Ōri didn't show any surprise, nor did he resist. Sara claims to Takuma Ichijo that Ōri had grown tired of his terribly long life, as it was mostly consisting of idly waiting for the day when it would all finally end.
Powers & Abilities[]
Like all Purebloods, Ōri is immortal and can heal from any wound except an anti-vampire weapon to the head or heart. His unique powers are currently unknown. However, Sara remarks that the power that she used to crush Hanadagi's defenses came from Ōri.

Etymology[]
- The surname Ori means Yellow Pear "黄梨" (黄 Ō/Ou means 'yellow) (梨 ri means 'pear').
Trivia[]
- "Ori" is only his family (last) name, as his given (first) name is currently unknown.
