In the special chapter "Life", Yori mentions how she doesn't like her father being manipulative and controlling, using people to his advantage. She found this in common with Kaname.
History[]
Councillor Wakaba was apparently a wealthy and powerful man who has ties to Cross Academy where he sends his daughter. He was aware of vampires and see an advantage in allowing them to attend Cross Academy. Councillor Wakaba only appeared once in the story, and was barely mentioned in the story.
Plot[]
Councillor Wakaba first appears in 71st Night appearing only in the shadow.
In Memories chapter 1 "Life", Sayori remembers that he explicitly told her to befriend Yuki Cross, which Sayori reveals to Yuki when they first meet.
He once set up a betrothal between his daughter and Takuma Ichijo. However the marriage-pact was later broken when she married Hanabusa Aido.
